Migrating from MyTourist to BedFlow

Updated on 2026-10-01

At a glance

If you currently use MyTourist, you can move your database to BedFlow in under an hour, without our involvement. The wizard at bedflow.eu/migrate reads your data via the official MyTourist API. In BedFlow you will find the same entry point under Management → Import, tile MyTourist API import. See also Importing your existing data.

What do we transfer automatically?

In the Selection step, everything is switched on; untick whatever you don't want to transfer.

Item Exactly what
Customers / debtors Name, address, email, phone, VAT number, language
Rooms + photos Name, description, capacity, daily rates, photos
Products / extras Wellness, breakfast, parking, dog, with photos
Invoices + original PDFs Proformas, final invoices, credit notes and payments, with the PDF
Availability calendar Rates and availability per room, history and future
Gift vouchers Active and used vouchers

If after the import you cannot find an ongoing reservation in Daily → Bookings, bring it in with a CSV export from MyTourist (see Importing your existing data), or let us know via support.

What do you need to do yourself?

  • Reviews: BedFlow fetches your reviews from Booking.com and Airbnb directly via the Chat & Reviews add-on.
  • Email texts: copy your texts to Management → Messages → Message templates. That takes a few minutes.
  • Channels (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia): request your channel under Settings → Integrations, category Channels. BedFlow creates your property at the channel manager itself and prepares your rooms. See Connecting Booking.com.

The steps of the wizard

  1. Welcome: fill in the name of your property and choose the type (B&B, holiday home or hotel).
  2. API key: paste your API key and the base URL from MyTourist. See Generating an API key.
  3. Preview: a trial run. We count what will be transferred, so you know in advance what you will get. Nothing is migrated yet.
  4. Selection: everything is switched on. Untick whatever you don't want to transfer.
  5. Migration: the import runs in the background. You can close the window; you'll receive an email once everything is in.
  6. Done: you see what came in. Try it free for 30 days, no credit card required.

Parallel phase (optional)

Do you want to keep working in MyTourist for a while? In the last step you get a webhook URL. Set it up in MyTourist, and new bookings from MyTourist will then also arrive in BedFlow.

How that works: see Parallel phase with webhooks.

No risk

  • Read-only: we don't change anything in your MyTourist data, we only read it.
  • Your data remains yours: you download your invoices as PDF and UBL (zip) from Daily → Invoices, you share your calendar via iCal feeds, and you download your account data yourself via Settings → Privacy.
  • Try it free for 30 days, no credit card required: you only pay if you continue after your trial. The monthly plans are paid per quarter, with no annual contract. You cancel yourself in My subscription & invoices; your subscription then runs until the end of the paid quarter. See Subscription & billing.
  • MyTourist keeps running: you decide when to cancel MyTourist.
