Connecting Weekendesk to BedFlow

Settings → Integrations → Channels → Weekendesk

Weekendesk is a specialist in weekend breaks and short stays in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. Guests go there specifically looking for 1 to 3-night stays with packages (wellness, breakfast, dinner). A good fit for B&Bs and boutique hotels in tourist regions.

Looking for the Weekendesk extranet? That is Weekendesk's Hotel Manager at pro.weekendesk.com, where you log in with your own account. BedFlow is not that extranet. Once you have completed the connection below, though, you will hardly need to work in it any more: availability and rates come from BedFlow, and bookings arrive automatically.

Prerequisite: you already have a Weekendesk Hotel Manager account with your property registered. You can apply via pro.weekendesk.com. In BedFlow you have at least one room with a base rate.

What do you need?

Item Where to find it
Weekendesk Property ID A number, usually 7 digits (e.g. 1234567), in Hotel Manager → Settings → Property Info
Login for pro.weekendesk.com Email address and password of your Hotel Manager account

Step 1 — Find your Property ID

  1. Log in at pro.weekendesk.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Property Info (or Paramètres → Informations propriété if your portal is in French).
  3. Your Property ID is shown at the top (e.g. 1234567).
  4. Alternatively, the ID also appears in the web address of your dashboard.

Step 2 — Enter the ID in BedFlow

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and click Settings on the Weekendesk tile.
  2. Paste the number into the Weekendesk Property ID field (section Channel connection).
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Connect in Channex — the Channel connection window opens inside BedFlow.

Is this your first channel? Then BedFlow sets up your property on the channel manager at that moment, with your room types and rates, and switches on Weekendesk and all your active rooms so you can map them in the next step.

Step 3 — Complete the connection window

The window shows the connection form of the Channex channel manager, with three tabs:

Tab "General Settings"

  • Channel → "Weekendesk"
  • Title → "Weekendesk"
  • Currency → EUR
  • Click Save

Tab "Mapping" — required

For each Weekendesk room type, choose which BedFlow rate plan is linked to it. Leave any templates you do not use on "Not mapped".

Tab "Channel Settings"

Review and save.

Step 4 — Back in BedFlow

At the bottom of the window, click Done — close and refresh status. BedFlow looks up the new connection and activates it. The onboarding status changes to Awaiting confirmation via the OTA extranet. If you forget that click, BedFlow links the connection automatically within a few minutes.

Step 5 — Weekendesk confirms

Weekendesk approves the connection on their side, usually within 24 to 48 hours. Keep an eye on your inbox for a confirmation email from Weekendesk. After that, the status switches automatically to Active — your channel is live.

Finally, check the Room mapping in the same window: switch on Active for every room you want to offer on Weekendesk and click Save. To add a room or remap one later, use the Map rooms button.

Frequently asked questions

I see room templates in the Weekendesk extranet that I do not offer. Those templates live at Weekendesk; we cannot delete them. Edit them in Weekendesk Hotel Manager, or ask their support to clean them up. In the Mapping tab you only map the templates you actually have — the rest stays "Not mapped" and receives nothing.

What is the standard commission? Around 17% (divisor 0.83). You can adjust it in the Commission section of the tile.

Does BedFlow also send packages (room + breakfast + wellness)? No. BedFlow sends the base room rate. You manage your packages yourself in Weekendesk Hotel Manager, on top of that rate.

Which countries does Weekendesk serve? Mainly Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Luxembourg, and to a lesser extent Spain, Italy and Germany.

When is Weekendesk worth it?

  • For B&Bs and boutique hotels in tourist destinations in Belgium, the Netherlands or France.
  • For properties with a strong wellness or dinner offering.
  • More for leisure guests than for business travellers.
