Mail log — all sent emails

All emails BedFlow sends — automatic confirmations, reminders, manual test emails — are logged in the Mail log. Handy to check whether a mail actually went out, and what it contained.

Where do I find this?

In the sidebar under System → Mail log. This is super-admin only.

What do you see per row?

  • Date/time of sending
  • To — the recipient email address
  • Subject — the subject line
  • Template — which template was used (booking-confirmed, …)
  • Trigger — which automation or action fired the email (e.g. booking_created, manual_send)
  • Statussent, failed, bounced
  • Booking — link to the related booking, if applicable

Click a row to expand and see the full rendered HTML + text version of the mail — exactly what the guest received in their inbox.

Filters

At the top there are quick filters:

  • Failed only — show failed and bounced emails
  • Period — last 24h / week / month
  • Template — e.g. only booking-reminder emails
  • Booking ID — all mails for one specific reservation

Frequently asked questions

A guest says they did not receive a confirmation email — what now?

  1. Open the booking, scroll down for the related mail log entries
  2. Status sent? → the mail did go out; ask the guest to check their spam folder
  3. Status bounced? → the email address is wrong/closed; correct the email on the debtor and click Resend on the booking
  4. No entry? → the automation is off. Check Manage → Automated emails

How long are emails kept? 60 days by default — after that the log is cleaned up automatically. The booking itself remains.

Can a guest see these logs? No — only super-admins. Guests see the emails they received in their own inbox, not here.
